Redditors convince cat pawrent to keep recently found stray kitten, believing that it’s a sign from her recently departed soul cat to heal the feline shaped whole in her heart, adding a fifth feline to her fur family

Usually we would warn you from taking advice based on the comments of random strangers on the internet. At best you might call their opinions a social consensus of a very few select cat people. But in the case of this story, we would like to think that the redditors were right and that the kitten that randomly turned up in this lady's yard one day was indeed sent to her by her recently departed soul cat.

Now, before we get into the nitty gritty of it all, let's take a moment to appreciate the stature of a soul cat. This is no ordinary cat, this title is reserved for only the best and brightest of felines. The kinds of cats who have been by their pawrent's side through thick and thin. The felines who did not behave like absolute lunatics all the time. The sweet fur babies who cuddled up on the couch, in the bed and everywhere else. The kind of cat that even the most staunch non believer in cat parenthood could not deny is your genetic offspring. That is a soul cat.

So in that context, it becomes a little easier to digest and believe the fact that there is a decent chance that this feline was sent to this woman by her recently departed cat. Their bond being so deep that it has transcended the moral and now exists upon all realms of reality. It represents a little glimmer of the good that exists in the world and how healing it can be.

Yeah, we can imagine this must have been a heartbreaking time for this cat mom. In most cases when people lose a cat, it means they have no other cats in their house. But in this case this poor pawrent has to look each of her other cat children in the face knowing that their sibling is gone and not coming back. That will take a while to heal from and is certainly not the position from which you would want to go out and actively seek out a fifth cat for your feline family.

We wholeheartedly agree with this comment and the many that were just like it on this post. Sometimes the CDS does what it does for very mysterious reasons but the point is that it does them. It knows the pawer it has to change people’s lives, and it must have looked upon this poor mourning cat mom and figured that a new kitten would actually help her rather than hinder her healing. Life is full of little signs that there are otherworldly forces looking out for us. Whether it is our cats from the great beyond or the CDS.
